I had a 1990 Geo Metro that had over 500,000 before I had to give it up. The engine out-lasted the rest of the car. Now I have another Metro and it's well over 300,000.

I have a 1998 Buick LeSabre that has over 250,000 miles on it. I have done very little repair on it. My son has a Ford Expedition that has 300,000 miles and his wife has one with 250,000 miles. When they came out with the "Trade in Your Clunker" campaign, I couldn't participate because my Buick got almost 30 miles to the gallon and the required car to purchase for trade-in had to get 25 miles/hr or more. I still get around 27-30 m/g on the highway.

I see more Olds Cutlass's than Monte Carlos in my area, but again during the 70's-80's the Cutlass Supreme was the Top Selling Car in the US for 7-9 years and the Cutlass, Monte Carlo, Regal & Grand Prix were all sibling cars from the same line at GM.

I agree with "GPD1739P." The Crown Victoria was an amazingly tough platform and will be sorely missed by many. My 1996 Crown Vic is still going very strong with almost 300,000 miles on the odometer.
